Project outputs will benefit young workforce involved as a student of faculty/employee of a company/ potential owner of business related to architecture, design, engineering, construction, refurbishment and energy. There are three major institutions providing technical education on the above subjects. These are Ilia University, Georgian Technical University and Georgian Academy of Art. NTC has an established relationship with all related faculties of these university through various training programs, contests and awards for students as well as job shadowing and internship of students from this faculties in the company. Therefore, company can easily network with the representatives of the faculties to arrange distribution of project awareness materials among students and organizing presentations for them (four presentations for up to 200 students). As NTC has an extensive experience of operating on Georgian market of sustainable construction and engineering it has an established a long-standing cooperation with most of architecture, construction and engineering firms present in Georgia. Project will provide the presentations/seminars for these companies throughout the project implementation stage, holding in total 10 seminars for 150 representatives of building sector. NTC is closely working with signatories (municipalities) of Georgia that joined the Covenant of Mayor (CoM) and took an obligation to decrease CO2 emission and mitigate climate change in the area of these municipalities by an average of 20% by 2020. Company has worked in consulting these municipalities on preparation and implementation of their Sustainable Energy Action Plans. There are 13 signatories of (CoM) and a total of 16 municipalities (one of the signatories is a region that consists of 3 municipalities). These municipalities include ones located in remote areas of Georgia and face socio-economic issues. Project will organize travel to these municipalities, delivering presentation and awareness materials to be distributed among local youth. Total of 16 visits/meetings will be held.
